Australia’s legendary Ghan ANZAC Tribute Journey in 2014
This ANZAC Day, the legendary Ghan will undertake its fourth ANZAC Tribute Journey, commemorating the sacrifices of Australian servicemen and women. Departing Darwin on 23 April, The Ghan will venture through the heart of Australia across four unforgettable days and three nights, stopping in Alice Springs to observe a traditional Dawn Service atop ANZAC Hill.
The journey features a leisurely river cruise along the stunning Katherine River, an Outback dinner under the stars, a visit to the Alice Springs Desert Park and a trip on an original Pichi Richi troop train through the spectacular Flinders Ranges.
The Ghan is a proud supporter of the Returned & Services League of Australia and their 2014 ANZAC Tribute journey will also raise funds and awareness for the RSL.
