Until May 18, Feast (Food by EAST Hong Kong), will be collaborating with Cath Kidston, the modern vintage British fashion and lifestyle brand, for an exclusive themed afternoon tea artistically directed by the award-winning cake designer, Penney Pang The collaboration will introduce a classic British high-tea experience for a relaxing afternoon.
The themed afternoon tea includes an afternoon tea set during weekdays and a tea buffet during weekends.
Both afternoon teas are inspired by Cath Kidston’s bright and beautiful Spring/Summer 2014 collection – Brighten Up Your Day. The collection’s inspiration of fresh blooms and seasonal floral prints matches perfectly with Penney Pang’s signature cake design, which features delicately handcrafted sugar flowers often with a touch of British flair.
During this period, you will be able to enjoy this all-new afternoon tea set from Monday to Friday under the watchful eye of Executive Chef, David Parkin and his team.
Highlights from the set include the English Honey-Glazed Ham and Mustard sandwich, Tea-Smoked Salmon, Horseradish and Cucumber sandwich, Duck-Egg Mayonnaise and Watercress sandwich, Sun-Blushed Tomato Palmiers, Quiche Lorraine, Asparagus Wrapped in Gorgonzola and Cured English Ham, Classic Fruit Scones with Devon Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam, Orange Blossom Chocolate Bon Bon, Rose Cream-Filled Macaroon and Earl Grey Cupcake; all of which are paired perfectly with the traditional English tea or coffee.
Penney Pang will specially guest-design the sugar decoration of the dessert items.
The afternoon tea is priced at HK$228 for a set for two from Monday to Friday and, HK$195 per person on weekend from 3:00pm to 5:30pm. All guests will receive a special Cath Kidston rose hand cream together with a discount card for any Cath Kidston store.

Like a wedding ring, each Penney Pang designer cake represents a unique love story. Through private consultation, Penney handcrafts some of the client’s favourite elements onto her signature combination of delicate sugar flowers and elegant fondant coating – making each creation a truly bespoke art piece.
