Mela Purdie
I'm always discovering somewhere new however I love the East coast of Italy in the Summer as I am drawn to my Italian heritage. Nothing beats the buzz of New York and at any time of the year you can feel the energy. I always find what I need and on occasion something unexpected! With kids in tow our own Great Barrier Reef is magnificent and a good Australian beach holiday is always a winner.
- Aways pack whole outfits to avoid unnecessary items of clothing that don¹t get used.
- Leggings and tanks are a great start to a travel wardrobe and can be layered for summer or winter looks with silky tunics, draped cardigans and stretchy lace for any occasion
- Lightweight travel toppers add street chic, weather protection and always double up as a stylish cover up at a minutes¹ notice.
- Two way stretch black or coloured jeans are a great comfort essential for en-route and double up as a tailored option for day into night.
- All colour dressing always works but a striped or printed top or blouse can add a splash of difference giving basic layers a new look.
- Pack something special to add a little glamour and put you in the holiday mood like an exotic printed or embellished satin kaftan or tunic.
- It's always best to pack fabrics that don¹t crush too much and that move and breathe with you.
- Don't pack too many shoes! Think about how many shoes you need in a normal week at home.
- Always consider your destination and its weather as it is easy to forget extreme weather changes when you are in the comfort of your own home.
- Allow plenty of time for departures and connections to avoid the stress of missing flights and appointments, however, delays are always inevitable.
