RAMADA COURAN COVE ISLAND INDULGES FAMILIES

The resort, situated on South Stradbroke Island, 35 minutes offshore from the northern Gold Coast, has packages available to ensure the whole family enjoys a relaxing and indulgent Easter break.

Three nights in a studio room, ideal for two adults and one child, is AUS $420 and includes a bacon and egg breakfast and choice of five lunch and dinner options, plus ferry transfer, for one child.

A one bedroom apartment, suitable for two adults and two children, is AUS $570 for three nights, and includes the same breakfast, lunch and dinner options, plus ferry transfer, for two children.

There will also be a range of activities on offer across the Easter weekend, including an Easter hunt, Easter bunny parade around the pool, water games and an Easter Olympic Games.

Available for travel between April 4 and April 26, the packages are for a minimum three night stay and are available for a studio room or a one bedroom apartment.

Ramada Couran Cove Island Resort CEO John Muntz said the deal and activities aimed to make it easy for families to get away this Easter holidays.

"The inclusive package will help families budget for their break and with a great menu on offer for the little ones, they can rest easy that there will be a meal the kids can enjoy for free," he said.

"We've picked five of the most popular children's dishes to be included in the package, with a choice of hamburger, fish and chips, chicken strips, macaroni and cheese or grilled chicken salad for lunch or dinner, and the always popular bacon, egg, tomato and toast for breakfast.

"We also have a range of activities that the whole family can enjoy for free any day of the year, including kayaking in the lagoon, nature trails and the pristine stretch of beach, along with an array of special Easter activities over the long weekend."

Mr Muntz said those who wanted to visit the island for the day were also more than welcome.

"Families can jump on board the ferry and be enjoying the island within 35 minutes, or if they have their own boat they can berth here for the day or overnight," he said.

"We have three restaurants offering a selection of meals to suit different tastes and budgets, along with the resort facilities, that those visiting for the day can enjoy."

The ferry runs between Hope Harbour and Couran Cove, or boaties can hire a marina berth for a day rate of $50 and overnight for $100 and will receive 50 per cent of their mooring fees back in food and beverage vouchers.  Bookings for both are essential.
